Karma_pi's Comm status: Open!!

Hello! I'm Karma, based in Canada and currently in university. I started drawing in maybe 2017? While in 2021, I got my first drawing tablet, a Huion1060P, which I still use to this day. I like drawing people and also backgrounds!I've also participated in a couple of zines and made art for games, both of which I hope to do more of in the future :DI'd also like to open an online shop eventually, having sold in a couple of markets. I'm very grateful for any art you've bought or commissioned and any support!!

terms of service

1. GENERAL TERMS
Prices are subject to change based on demand.
I have the right to reject any order for any reason.
All drawings will include a watermark that you may not remove.
I have the right to record a speedpaint and post unless requested otherwise.

2. PAYMENT
The currency accepted is USD and can be paid through Vgen.
Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after sketch approval.

3. REVISIONS
You get 1 major revision and 2 minor revisions are free (eg. pose change is major and eye color change is minor) and any additional may be charged up to 10% of original cost unless I misunderstood something. Check ups will usually be after the sketch, flat colors, and rendered stage.
If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, I may charge you a fee to change it. The amount of the extra charge depends on the change you want me to make and is usually based on an hourly wage.

4. PROCESS & DELIVERY
The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 1 week- 1 month depending on complexity, real life responsibilities, and health (wrist sometimes bugs me :[ ) A rush fee will be applied if you'd like the piece done by a specific date.
Once the piece is finished you will receive the full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size (png and jpg unless requested otherwise). Note that there is no physical product.

5. COPYRIGHT & USAGE
I, Karma (the artist):
I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.
I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork (your characters are still yours, etc.)
I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online including speedpaints or on my portfolio unless requested otherwise.

You (the customer/commissioner):
You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.
You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, making prints for selling, etc.) without my permission.
You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent or use it to train AI or NFTs.
You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).

6. REFUNDS
No refunds after payment, unless I am physically unable to finish the commission due to emergency or other situations.

7. COMMUNICATION
You can contact me through my Instagram or Discord! Through there, I'll ask about any other specifics and send updates. If a check up is not approved by the client, the commission will be paused until a response has been given.

OCs, fanart, ship art, real people, animals and mecha (including furries/anthromorphic characters, I will try my best but I don't have as much experience with them).

❌ I WON'T DRAW
NSFW, hate art, fetishes

A clear reference is highly recommended as designing a character will cost a certain fee.
